The Japanese practice of repairing broken items with gold to emphasise its damage, it is believed that when an item has suffered damage it has a story which makes it more beautiful.
Please remember that all you have been through and are going through does not make you worthless, despite how it may feel. Try not to get stuck on who you used to be, sometimes it takes being broken to find a new and better version of yourself.
Learn from your struggles and become better, turning something that could be ugly into something beautiful, wear your scars with pride and turn them into something inspiring. You survived and you’re stronger and more beautiful for it. <3
